Refund and Returns Policy

At Mechman Solution, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with our software solutions, training services, support offerings, and related engineering services. This Refund and Returns Policy explains the terms under which returns, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds may be considered for purchases or service bookings made through our website, shop pages, or direct business communication channels. Mechman Solution offers Autodesk software, training, support, and post-processor-related services through its website and shop.

1. General Policy

Because Mechman Solution primarily deals in software licences, digital products, technical services, training, and customized engineering/post-processor solutions, not all purchases are eligible for return or refund.

Refunds or returns, if applicable, are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and only in accordance with the terms below.

2. Products and Services Covered

This policy applies to:

  • Software licence purchases
  • Training plans or custom training bookings
  • Technical support-related purchases
  • Post processor modification or new post request services
  • Other product or service transactions made through Mechman Solution

3. Returns

Physical Products

If Mechman Solution supplies any physical product, return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • the item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was delivered
  • it must be in its original packaging
  • proof of purchase or invoice must be provided
  • the return must be approved by Mechman Solution before dispatch

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Software Licences / Digital Products

Software licences, activation keys, digital subscriptions, downloadable products, or electronically delivered software are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once:

  • the licence key has been issued
  • the subscription has been activated
  • the software has been delivered electronically
  • the order has been processed with the vendor or licensing partner

This is because digital/software products cannot be physically returned once provisioned.

4. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for return, exchange, or refund:

  • Activated or delivered software licences
  • Downloadable or digital products
  • Custom training programs already confirmed or delivered
  • Consultancy or support services already rendered
  • Custom post processor development or modification work
  • Special order, customized, or client-specific service deliverables
  • Sale or promotional items, unless required by law
  • Any product or service explicitly marked as non-refundable

5. Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Deliveries

If you receive:

  • an incorrect product,
  • a duplicate charge,
  • a damaged physical item, or
  • a deliverable that materially differs from what was confirmed,

please contact us within 3 business days of receiving the item or service confirmation.

We may request supporting details such as:

  • order number or invoice
  • screenshots
  • proof of payment
  • product photos, where applicable
  • a written description of the issue

Once reviewed, we may offer an appropriate resolution, which may include correction, replacement, service adjustment, store credit, or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

6. Cancellations

Before Processing

Orders or service requests may be cancelled before they are processed, activated, scheduled, or assigned for execution.

If cancellation is requested before processing begins, Mechman Solution may approve a full or partial refund after deducting any transaction, administrative, or processing charges, where applicable.

After Processing / Activation

Once a software licence has been processed, activated, issued, or procured from the vendor, cancellation will generally not be possible.

Once training, technical support, consultancy, or post-processor work has started, cancellation may not be eligible for refund. In such cases, any refund will be at Mechman Solution’s sole discretion based on the work already completed.

7. Training and Service Bookings

For training plans, customer training, or other scheduled services:

  • cancellation requests made sufficiently in advance may be considered for rescheduling or partial refund
  • no-shows or last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for refund
  • if training/service delivery has already commenced, the amount paid may become partially or fully non-refundable

Where possible, we may allow rescheduling instead of cancellation.

8. Exchanges

Exchanges are generally not applicable for digital software licences once purchased. If you wish to switch to another product, version, or plan, this may require a separate commercial review and a fresh order, subject to vendor policies and pricing.

For physical items, if exchange is approved, the original item must first be returned and verified.

9. Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 7 to 15 business days, subject to:

  • verification of the request
  • completion of internal review
  • payment gateway or banking timelines
  • vendor-side confirmation, if relevant

Please note that banks or payment providers may take additional time to reflect the refunded amount.

10. Shipping and Return Costs

If a physical return is approved:

  • return shipping charges may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to a wrong, defective, or damaged item supplied by us
  • original shipping charges, if any, may be non-refundable unless otherwise determined by Mechman Solution

12. Right to Refuse

Mechman Solution reserves the right to refuse a return, cancellation, or refund request if:

  • the request falls outside the permitted timeline
  • the product or service is non-refundable by nature
  • the software licence has already been issued or activated
  • the service has already been substantially delivered
  • insufficient proof is provided
  • misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity is suspected

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Returns Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or business changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
